Our Joliet Cursillo Movement has a large group of intercessors (also known as Prayer Warriors). These volunteers receive daily prayer requests for intentions through a subscription to our Constant Contact service. The intentions are submitted by our Fourth Day.
If you’d like to submit a prayer request or Palanca, please fill out the form after reading the notes below “About Prayer Requests”. The prayer requests are gathered throughout the day and usually sent out as a group of petitions the next day.
About Prayer Requests
- Prayer requests must be emailed to the Palanca Coordinator at prayer [at] jolietcursillo.org or using the form on our website for submitting a daily prayer request
- Please remember that we can only post prayer requests and not other types of announcements to the prayer request distribution list. Cursillo-related announcements, other than prayer requests, must be emailed to our Communications Secretary at info [at] jolietcursillo.org
- In the interest of protecting privacy, please do not include last names and intimate details in the prayer requests. The communications committee reserves the right to edit submitted content.
- Prayer requests are published once daily usually early morning unless we receive an emergency request later in the day that needs immediate publishing.
- We are unable to add photos, logos, clip art or graphics to the prayer requests.
- Important: The prayer request is an opt-in service, so those coming off the weekend will automatically receive the prayer requests. Those desiring prayer requests must go to the update profile at the bottom of any of the emails they’ve received from us on Constant Contact.
